Synopsis

Entrepreneurship hubs have a few things in common; liberal cultures accommodating a diverse group of people and personalities; reasonable laws facilitating immigration and the formation of new companies; good weather and a high standard of living; smart, ambitious people normally served by a top class university or three.

Melbourne has all the pieces of this puzzle, yet the incidence of entrepreneurship remains low. Entrepreneurship remains a confused, misunderstood concept in our society. Reversing this is necessary, and the solution must come in many forms.
